JHU SAIS to Hold Discussion on U.S. Trade Policy
The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "United States Trade Policy: A Work in Progress," on Monday, 04/21 at 5:30 p.m.
This is the next event of the "SAIS Faculty Book Series" which will feature a discussion of United States Trade Policy: A Work in Progress, a book written by Charles Pearson, director of the International Economics Program at SAIS, recently published by Wiley.
Pearson will make some introductory remarks, followed by a panel discussion about the book and U.S. trade policy. Panelists include:
¨ Judith Dean, international economist at the Office of Economics Research Division of the U.S. International Trade Commission
¨ Michael Mandelbaum, director of the SAIS American Foreign Policy Program
¨ Sherman Katz, William M. Scholl Chair in International Business at the Center for Strategic and International Studies
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the first-floor auditorium of the school's Rome Building, located at 1619 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C.
