JHU SAIS to Host 5th Annual Washington Energy Policy Conference
The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a conference Thursday, 04/6 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on "Understanding the New Global Energy Paradigm: How Technology, Deregulation and Convergence Are Redefining the Industry."
The National Capital Area Chapter of the U.S. Association for Energy Economics is co-sponsoring the event with the SAIS International Energy and Environment Program.
William L. Massey, commissioner of the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, will give the conference's keynote address, "Regulatory Perspective on Fundamental Changes in the Energy Industry," at 8:30 a.m.
Expert speakers from industry, government and academia will address the following topics throughout the day:

4:30 p.m."A Total Energy Company: How It Would Look and Work"
