JHU SAIS to Host Foreign Policy Briefing Featuring Sen. Sam Brownback
The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a briefing, "Foreign Policy: A View From Congress," on Thursday, 10/20 at 8:15 a.m.
The forum, hosted by the SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations, SAIS's Transatlantic Magazine and The Financial Times, features the following participants:
- Sam Brownback, Republican U.S. senator from Kansas and chairman of the Helsinki Commission, will give the keynote remarks.
- Edward Alden, Washington deputy bureau chief of The Financial Times
- Robert Guttman, editor-in-chief of Transatlantic Magazine
Admittance to the briefing is by invitation only. However, the event is open to the media for coverage.
The session will be held in Room 500 of the school's Bernstein-Offit Building, 1717 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
