JHU SAIS to Host Forum on Crisis in Congo
The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a forum, "Crisis Unfolding in the Democratic Republic of Congo" on Thursday, 07/1 at 9 a.m.
The forum, hosted by the SAIS African Studies Program and Search for Common Ground (SFCG), features the following panelists:
· Hans Romkema, former DRC representative at the Life and Peace Institute
· Jason Sterns, former demobilization officer for the U.N. mission in DRC
· Herbert Weiss, senior policy scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars
· Ozong Agborsangaya, director of sub-Saharan Africa Programs at SFCG
The event, which is open to the public, will be held in the Kenney Auditorium of the Nitze Building, located at 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to SFCG at glpf@sfcg.org or 202.777.2221.
