JHU SAIS and Newsweek to Co-host Forum on Future of Iraq
The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and Newsweek will co-host a forum, "The Future of Iraq: Beyond the United States Occupation," on Tuesday, 09/14 at 6 p.m. (a reception will precede the event at 5 p.m.).
Event participants include:
- Eliot Cohen, Robert E. Osgood Professor and director of the Merrill Center for Strategic Studies at SAIS
- Francis Fukuyama, Bernard L. Schwartz Professor of International Political Economy at SAIS
- Michael Hirsh, Newsweek senior editor
- Bruce Hoffman, director of the RAND Corporation Washington Office who also served as senior adviser on counterterrorism to the Office of National Security Affairs of the Coalition Authority in Iraq during the spring of 2004
- Dan Senor, former chief spokesman for the Coalition Authority in Iraq and senior adviser to Ambassador L. Paul Bremer III
- Richard Wolffe (moderator), Newsweek diplomatic and Washington correspondent
- Jessica Einhorn (introductory remarks), dean of SAIS
