JHU SAIS to Host Foreign Policy Briefing Featuring Sen. Chuck Hagel

The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a briefing, "Foreign Policy: A View From Congress," on Tuesday, 03/15 at 8 a.m.

The forum, hosted by the SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations, SAIS's Transatlantic Magazine and The Financial Times, features the following participants:

  • Chuck Hagel, Republican U.S. senator from Nebraska and member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will give the keynote remarks.
  • Kwame Holman, congressional correspondent for PBS's NewsHour with Jim Lehrer
  • Lionel Barber, U.S. managing editor of The Financial Times
  • Robert Guttman, editor-in-chief of Transatlantic Magazine

Admittance to the briefing is by invitation only. However, the event is open to the media for coverage.

The session will be held in Room 500 of the school's Bernstein-Offit Building, 1717 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
