Rep. Jim Marshall to Speak at JHU SAIS

Rep. Jim Marshall (D-Ga.), will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Monday, 10/27 at 6 p.m.

Marshall, a member of the House Armed Services Committee and a Vietnam veteran, will speak about "Rebuilding Iraq." In particular, he will address how the media's coverage is impacting the rebuilding efforts.

Francis Fukuyama, SAIS dean of faculty and Schwartz Professor of International Political Economy, will moderate the discussion.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Kenney Auditorium of the Nitze Building, located at 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to 202.663.5648 or saispubaffairs@jhu.edu.
